Geraldine Gale, Soprano, will delight all with her versatile interpretations of “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables, and Puccini’s “Vissi D’Arte” from Tosca.
Looking for Romance? This is a double header! Gordon Hammes will perform Nocturne in D Flat Major, and Marilyn Scott performs Nocturne in c# minor by Chopin, one of the more passionate composers of piano literature.
What is more beautiful than a “climbing rose”? “Clair Matin” (the climbing rose) by French composer Jeanjean will be given Frank Burgeson’s interpretation on clarinet …a painting in music!
Olivia McLean, piano, changes the mood with “I Love Vienna”, a waltz by jazz great, Dave Brubeck, showing the influence of Johan Strauss on more contemporary music. Looking for the angelic sound of the flute? Cindy Quail performs Donjon’s Offertoire, frequently played for a church offertory, while you meditate on the gifts of talent within our community.
