The performers represent many categories of people involved in the Club’s music program: Allyson Hayford, a student in the Haegg program – an award that provides private lessons to talented students in middle school or high school for whom lessons would otherwise be unaffordable; Jeremy Brackle, one of our top scholarship awardees who has placed or won every year he has entered; Karen Davis, a member of our adult performance group who has concertized extensively; Mario Bernardo, an excellent saxophonist who teaches at FGCU and helped in the design of this program; and Steffanie Pearce and Richard Bosworth — outstanding musicians who have been leaders in the world of music as well as strong supporters of the Naples Music Club and its goals.
Steffanie, an opera star, was the founder and Artistic Director of Opera Naples for 11 years. She has now founded the Gulf Shore Opera Company once again bringing talent, innovation and creativity to a broad area of Florida. Richard Bosworth concertizes all over the world and plays an important role in music in Naples as a performer, a teacher, and a composer (as we will hear in the concert.
